What to expect at your visit

We schedule generous appointment windows on purpose. A wellness visit runs 30–45 minutes, which gives us time to do a thorough exam and gives you time to ask everything you meant to ask.

You won’t be rushed through, and we won’t hand you a treatment plan you don’t understand.

Welcome. A few things that make your first visit go smoothly.

Bring records

Previous vaccine history, recent bloodwork, or any notes from a prior clinic. If it’s easier, we can request them just give us the name of your old vet when you book.

Arrive early

There’s a short new-client form, and it’s more relaxing to fill out in the lobby than in the exam room.

Bring your questions

Anything you’ve noticed. Eating, drinking, energy, limping, the lump you keep meaning to mention. Write it down. It’s easy to forget once you’re in the room.

Cats travel better

Leave the carrier out at home for a day or two beforehand with a towel inside. It makes the trip considerably less dramatic.
